Fairplay, Colorado
Cross-Country Skiing Trails

Fairplay is located 21 miles north of Antero Junction on U.S. Hwy 285 at an elevation of 9,896 feet. The cross-country ski trails near Fairplay, Colorado are located in the South Park Ranger District of the Pike National Forest. The town is minutes from trailheads and is the major supply point for those cross-country skiing in the region.

Boreas Pass South Park Ranger District Boreas Pass Road consists of improved dirt and gravel, and follows the abandoned route of the Denver, South Park and Pacific Railroad.
Georgia Pass South Park Ranger District Georgia Pass has been an access route into the Breckenridge Valley for more than a century. First Indians used it then gold seekers, today the Colorado Trail leads skiers over the pass.
Gold Dust Trail South Park Ranger District The Gold Dust Trail leads 8 miles from approximately 1.5 miles north of Como to within a mile of Boreas Pass. The trailhead is located in the middle of the trail on County Road 50.
