Description

Five Points Campground Five Points campground is easily accessible from Hwy 50 and has a passageway under the bridge to the site on the river. At this site you will find a "Watchable Wildlife" exhibit and an observation deck over the river. It's also one of the best picnic areas around!

Description

Alvarado Campground San Carlos Ranger District Alvarado Campground is located approximately 10 miles southwest of Westcliffe on Highway 69. Go south of Westcliffe to County Road 140 and follow it for about 7 miles to the campground.
Bear Lake Campground San Carlos Ranger District This campground is located at 10,500 feet above sea level and is within a short hike of Bear Lake. There are 14 single family units, each with a table, fire ring with grill and parking spur. Drinking water is provided.
Blue Lake Campground San Carlos Ranger District Blue Lake Campground is located at an elevation of 10,500 feet above sea level, within a short hike of Blue Lake. It consists of 15 single family units. Drinking water is provided.
Davenport Campground San Carlos Ranger District Attractions at this campground include nearby hiking, biking or motorized trails, a babbling brook running through the campground and stream fishing.
Lake Creek Campground San Carlos Ranger District Lake Creek Campground is located approximately 14 miles northwest of the town of Westcliffe, CO. It is reached by taking State Highway 69 north from Westcliffe for approximately 11 miles.
Lake Isabel-la Vista Campground San Carlos Ranger District La Vista Campground is located within the Lake Isabel Recreation Area and is situated directly west and is within a few minutes walk of the shoreline of the lake. This campground was constructed in 1992 and is in excellent condition.
Lake Isabel-ponderosa Group Site San Carlos Ranger District Ponderosa Group Site is located within the Lake Isabel Recreation Area. These sites were constructed in 1992 and are in excellent condition. Recreation opportunities include fishing, hiking and biking.
Lake Isabel-southside Campground San Carlos Ranger District This campground is situated directly south of Lake Isabel. The eight family units are designed primarily for trailers and motor homes. Attractions associated with this site include nearby lake and stream fishing and hiking. Roads are paved.
Lake Isabel-spruce Group Site San Carlos Ranger District Ponderosa Group Site is located within the Lake Isabel Recreation Area. These sites were constructed in 1992 and are in excellent condition. Recreation opportunities include fishing, hiking and biking.
Lake Isabel-St. Charles Campground San Carlos Ranger District This campground is situated approximately 1 mile west of Lake Isabel. St. Charles contains 15 family units which are designed to accommodate both RV and tent camping. The facilities in this campground are in good condition.
Ophir Creek Campground San Carlos Ranger District Ophir Creek Campground is located approximately eight miles north of the Lake Isabel Recreation Area. It has 31 individual family campsites, each with a table and fire ring.
Purgatoire Campground San Carlos Ranger District Purgatorie Campground is located on Forest Development Road 34 approximately 4 miles west of its intersection with State Highway 12.
Trinchera Peak Trailhead San Carlos Ranger District Access to Trinchera Peak Trailhead is located above Cuchara on the left side of Blue Lake, which is part of the Cuchara Recreation Area. There is some parking for 2WD vehicles at the trailhead.
